Ryonoshuge (Commentaries on the Civil Statutes) (令集解)

Ryonoshuge is a commentary on the Yoro Ritsuryo Code written in the early ninth century (around 868). The commentary is a 50-volume collection (36 of them are still in existence).

This is a private commentary by a scholar named KOREMUNE no Naomoto and unlike Ryo-no-gige (Commentary on the Ryo), it did not have any legal effect.
